Change your password if:
Your new password needs:
We recommend using a passphrase—three or four unrelated words with a number and symbol mixed in. Avoid dictionary words on their own, personal details (your name, birthday, or phone number), simple sequences like 123456 or qwerty, and any password you've used recently.
You can also check your password here to see if it's been exposed in any known data breaches.
Note: Changing your account password doesn't affect your App Store or Google Play billing—store subscriptions are managed through your Apple or Google account, separately from your VPN Super sign-in.
If you can't sign in, you can't change your password from your account—reset it instead. See our guide for resetting your VPN Super password.
You might run into some issues when changing your password; these fixes might help:
How often should I change my password?
There's no need to do it on a set schedule. Change it if you think it's been compromised, you've shared it with someone, or it's reused elsewhere.
Can I reuse an old password?
It's best not to—use a new, unique password each time.
What if I forget my new password right away?
Reset your password; a reset link works even if you just changed your password.
Do password changes affect my billing?
No. Changing your password doesn't affect your subscription, billing, or payment methods.
Can Support see my password?
No. Support can't see or retrieve your password, but they can help you reset it.
What happens to my VPN connection when I change my password?
Any active connection keeps running until you sign out. Sign back in on each device with the new password to stay connected.
